Dear Shine Bright Families and staff, a child who attended Spring Gully Kindergarten on Fri 29/10/21 between 8.30am to 11.30am has tested positive for Covid-19. All primary contacts, children, families and staff who were in attendance at this time need to get tested immediately and isolate. As informed by the Public Health Unit of the Department of Health, the premise does not need to close so your sessions will continue as normal. Required cleaning has been undertaken.
What are the symptoms of COVID-19?
The symptoms to watch out for are:
- fever
- chills or sweats
- cough
- sore throat
- shortness of breath
- runny nose
- loss or change in sense of smell or taste.
Some people may also experience headache, muscle soreness, stuffy nose, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.
